I worked for months, working 12- hour days sanding floors and tearing down wallpaper with one baby strapped to my back while the other babies were climbing in the playpen. Ha! We were getting close to completing, however it was still a long way off. In order to furnish the house it would take a lot of effort with regards to time and money. I hosted open houses in my home where one 000 people could visit over a weekend, and they could purchase anything on the first floor. Growing Days was founded in my own home. Growing Days was more than an extremely successful company, it was also my sweet family. I was finding that balance between what it took starting a new venture as well as a mother too. I started receiving messages from individuals asking for assistance with home improvements and design of interiors. They were mostly people who visited my residence to buy furniture. It didn't seem long until I had a fully-fledged home renovation company. The first step was to take clients in a manner that I felt confident in. Most likely, I would have been laughing if somebody had informed me that my company was to become the basis for an upcoming television show in the DIY Network. Indeed, I am laughing a little when I remember the story.
