Nadia Comaneci, (born November 12th of November, 1961 Gheorghe Gheorghiu-Dej (now Onesti(born November 12, 1961 in Gheorghe Gheorghiu Dej, now One Romania) Romanian gymnast who was the first gymnast in history to receive a score of a perfect of 10 points in the Olympic competition. Bela Karrolyi was a Romanian gymnastics teacher who was later Comaneci's coach, first discovered Comaneci at the age of six. At first, she competed in the junior national championships of Romania in the year 1969, she finished 13th. And in 1970, won. She won three golds in her first competition, a junior pre-Olympic meet in 1972 that was held by the communist bloc nations. Between 1973 and 1974, she became the junior all-round champion. In 1975 she was awarded 4 gold and 1 silver in her first senior competition. Lyudmila Torishcheva was a five-time European Champion. In 1976 she became the first person in the world to utilize a reversed double salto in order to take off the parallel bars. The story of Carol Wayne to the world of entertainment began when she was a teenager. With her twin sister Nina Wayne, she joined touring entertainment programs known as Ice Capades. Carol Marie Wayne was a born on the 6th day of September 1942 in Chicago, Illinois. Carol started her career as an entertainer when she was a teenager. She started her career performing figure skating along with Nina Wayne, her younger sister as part of traveling entertainment shows Ice Capades. These shows included the ice skating of which was accompanied by theatrical music.
