Julia-roberts
Julia Fiona Roberts, born on October 28, 1967, in Atlanta to Betty Lou Bredemus & Walter Grady Roberts. She belongs to an extended family of Robertses, the 4th generation who live in the Atlanta area beginning with her great-grandfather John Pendleton Roberts a farmer. Her father took keen interest from a young age in stage. While a student at Emory University in 1952 he acted in productions on campus as well as in other parts of Atlanta. While stationed at Biloxi, Mississippi he was cast as a soldier in a play with Betty Lou Bredemus. The two married in 1955 and the couple's first child Eric Anthony was born in 1956. Walter was studying at Tulane University, New Orleans Louisiana. In 1957, the couple quit the Air Force and Walter started studying at Tulane University. Walter began working with Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio. In 1960, the family relocated from the city of Decatur Georgia. Walter along with Betty Lou started production in 1964 on the local Saturday morning children's show on television called Bum Bum and His Buddies and their Buddies, which they themselves funded. In 1964 Walter and Betty Lou established The Actors and Writers Workshop. The workshop lasted six years. They were joined by Lelisa Billingsley (also also known as Lisa) and Julia (also named Julie) during this period.
